Will Smith compares 9/11 to "A Racist Cop"
The Conservative Voice - News: "A four-month-old interview that Will Smith gave to a German newspaper - in which the movie star equated the devastation of 9/11 with an attack by 'a racist cop' - is belatedly raising blood pressure in the United States.
Yesterday, Syracuse activist Jon Alvarez - whose Web site, PABAAH.com, stands for Patriotic Americans Boycotting Anti-American Hollywood - launched a boycott of Smith's movies over the Aug. 9 interview in Frankfurter Allgemeine, a major daily.
'No. Absolutely not,' Smith replied when reporter Johanna Adorjan asked if the events of 9/11 had personally changed him. 'When you grow up black in America you have a completely different view of the world than white Americans. We blacks live with a constant feeling of unease.
'And whether you are wounded in an attack by a racist cop or in a terrorist attack, I'm sorry, it makes no difference.'"
