'I, Robot' review, with Will Smith

Gay Movie Reviews from 365Gay.com: "Robots are everywhere in Chicago 2035. They are the garbage collectors, behind the counters at fast food restaurants, and presumably they've taken the place of battery operated sex toys. We never get that far in 'I Robot', and that's a pity. Not for the prurient interest but because that would be the only new ground covered in I Robot.
The bells and whistles, or maybe smoke an mirrors is more appropriate, aside, we have a shallow script based on an old premise with Will Smith only going through the motions of acting. Now, Smith is a fine actor, when he wants to be. But to bring out his talent he needs motivation. He looks like the guy at the desk next to you at work, watching the clock until quitting time.
No wonder. 'I Robot' is is based Isaac Asimov's sci-fi short story collection. We have Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics, a sort of checks-and-balances system for the 'new age'. "
